* Identifies critical materials, analyzes industry trends, competitor strategies, and supplier product and market trends and communicates key insights to enhance strategic decision-making.
* Develops an understanding of materials management and logistics, recommends modifications, and communicates effectively, sharing knowledge and actively identifying opportunities for data quality improvement.
* Interprets and analyzes inventory management plans, assesses stock levels, and reports on inventory metrics, optimizing material handling and storage.
* Coordinates with operations and suppliers for the complex return, repair, refurbishing, or disposal of materials, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
* Analyzes warehouse management processes, drafts EHS documentation, and assesses opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
* Engages in seamless materials transfers, participating in surplus sales, and conducting rigorous physical audits to ensure optimal utilization and accountability within the supply chain.
* Identifies carrier limitations, interprets logistics plans, and tracks inbound freight, while also communicating with stakeholders to identify special transportation requirements, resolve issues, and prioritize shipments.
* Collects and analyzes freight cost estimates, develops budgets, tracks costs, and reports on carrier performance, ensuring efficient transportation management.
* Works under general supervision, actively participates in change efforts, and establishes influential relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Evaluates and recommends solutions independently, assesses discipline-specific risks, and demonstrates the ability to prioritize and complete assignments, contributing to collaborative, goal-oriented team efforts. Education:
* Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or any other related discipline and/or commensurate work experience is required.

Experience:
* 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in Supply Chain specializing in areas such as Material Requirement Planning, Materials Tracking and Traceability, Warehousing and Storage, Inventory Management or a related field. Industry experience is preferred.
