The Role in Brief:

Business Analyst

The Business Analyst manages a pool of clients through the technical implementation of the technology's web-based platform. This role manages the partner relationship, sets and executes against project milestones, and manages the quality, partner satisfaction and engagement throughout the implementation lifecycle. This role is also responsible for contributing to the team's process improvement efforts and finding innovative ways to make positive impacts to the business.

This role is based in Richmond, VA or Washington, D.C.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Effectively manage technical projects for a portfolio of partners
  • Design and lead implementation strategy based on institutional structure and data availability
  • Work with the partners technical staff, to extract and validate data
  • Assist team in improving process, and developing scalable solutions
  • Analyze partner data for validity, identify trends and statistical significance
  • Master the functionality of the Student Success platform and develop expertise in industry/product terrain
  • Foster executive level relationships within the institution
  • Regularly facilitate phone calls and virtual presentations with partners; in-person presentations may be occasionally required


Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1+ year of continuous work experience
  • Willingness to travel domestically to partner institutions as necessary
  • Attention to detail
  • Service orientation
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrable analytical reasoning and problem-solving ability
  • Time management skills


Ideal Qualifications:



  • Relevant project management experience
  • Experience working with analytic tools (Excel, SQL)
  • Partner management experience
  • Demonstrates personal responsibility and assertiveness
  • Commitment to embracing a continual learning environment and contributing to a dynamic and welcoming culture of fairness, authenticity, and belonging in support of EAB's mission, values, and aspiration

Compensation:

The anticipated starting salary range for this role is $50,000 - $60,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not be limited to relevant experience, skills, and location. At EAB, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the starting salary range for their role.

This hire will additionally be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
