Job Summary
The Start-Up Technician I is responsible for performing start-up procedures and functionality checks on newly installed HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems and equipment. This role ensures systems are operating correctly and in accordance with project specifications. The technician completes all required documentation and submits it to the appropriate supervisor or manager. The position involves regular interaction with clients, internal teams, and vendors. Working under general supervision, the Start-Up Technician I follows established procedures, with some discretion to adjust based on technical conditions in the field. Essential Duties
Minimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Preference given to candidates with vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience in the field. Craft training is highly valued. EPA Certification is mandatory. Candidates must also maintain necessary registrations, professional licenses, and certifications relevant to the position. 2-5 years of experience Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
