Job DescriptionThe Campus Marketing & Communications Lead serves as a strategic and hands-on partner between the Chief Marketing Officer's (CMO) office and campus leadership to ensure that campus-specific marketing, public relations, and promotional efforts align with TSTC's institutional goals. The role is responsible for content development, social media, public relations, multimedia coordination, event promotion, and crisis communication preparation, with a focus on highlighting student success and institutional impact. This position collaborates closely with the central marketing team while also supporting the provost and local stakeholders to elevate campus visibility and community engagement. The Campus Marketing & Communications Lead reports to the CMO's office and works in close partnership with campus leaders, faculty, and students.

Hiring Range is $49,000 - $54,000 USD Annual.
The final salary offer will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
Equivalent combination of education, training and relevant professional experience will be considered. Essential Functions

Campus Marketing & Liaison Responsibilities
Serves as the primary liaison between the CMO's office and the campus provost, coordinating campus-specific messaging and promotional activities.

Partners with local leadership to identify marketing opportunities that elevate student engagement and promote key institutional initiatives.

Communicates regularly with the central marketing team to ensure alignment and performance tracking across campaigns.

Public Relations & Content Development
Develops and publishes press releases, blog posts, and media content to highlight campus achievements and success stories.

Ensures consistency with TSTC's brand voice and editorial standards.

Builds relationships with local media outlets and community stakeholders to strengthen public visibility.

Social Media & Digital Engagement
Leads campus-specific social media efforts, creating and curating engaging content that supports awareness and community engagement.

Partners with the central social media team to ensure brand alignment and reporting accuracy.

Monitors engagement and contributes to digital strategy improvements based on performance analytics.

Event Promotion & Campus Engagement
Collaborates with central design and content teams to promote campus events, open houses, and initiatives.

Supports planning and marketing logistics to ensure successful visibility and participation.

Develops integrated marketing plans that reflect local needs and institutional priorities.

Photography, Videography & Multimedia Support
Captures campus life through photography and videography while coordinating with TSTC's central multimedia team for professional production needs.

Maintains an organized archive of digital content and ensures timely delivery of visual assets for campaigns and publications.

Media Training & Crisis Communication
Prepares the campus provost and designated staff for media interviews, offering training on public speaking, media relations, and institutional messaging.

Coordinates media requests and supports the implementation of local crisis communication plans in alignment with guidance from the CMO's office.

Collaboration with Marketing & Creative Teams
Works closely with graphic designers, writers, and multimedia specialists to develop branded, high-quality materials. Provides localized insights and collaborates on statewide campaigns to amplify the impact of marketing initiatives.

Education, Experience, & Skills

Required Qualifications
Three or more years of experience in marketing, public relations, social media, or digital content creation.
Proven experience writing and publishing press releases, news articles, and promotional content.
Experience managing social media platforms and creating audience engagement strategies.
Basic photography and videography experience, with ability to coordinate with professional media teams.
Experience in public speaking coaching or media training.
Ability to travel up to 25% based on business needs.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in higher education, student engagement, or event marketing.
Familiarity with media outreach and community engagement.
Proficiency in design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
