The Manager of Housing and Student Life, UCR Extension manages and leads a variety of services and collaborations that enhance student life for UCR Extension students, particularly its visiting international student population, and assists with the management of the on-campus residential program for UCR Extension, International Village Apartments. The position is responsible for community development in the residential area via Community Assistant (CA) recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation; co-curricular programming; advising, conflict mediation, policy enforcement and adjudication; on-site crisis and emergency response coordination; resident communications; and special projects. The position collaborates with staff on academic year and summer programs including visiting groups, quarterly registrations & orientations, and socio-cultural programming. The position serves as a primary liaison with third-party housing partners and campus partners in International Affairs, UCR Student Life, Student Recreation Center/Outdoor Excursions, and other services, resources and programs that enhance the student life experience.

The Manager of Housing and Student Life, UCR Extension position is an in-person position, based at UCR Extension with regular office hours at International Village Apartments.

Finalists will be asked to provide a 15-minute presentation related to student life and community building as part of the interview process.

The full salary range for the Manager of Housing and Student Life, UCR Extension is $57,700 - $99,300 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $65,000 annually. Salary offers are based on a variety of considerations, such as related education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for staff.
