Job Summary:
Westat is seeking a highly skilled individual with financial and technical systems experience with TM1, Deltek Costpoint, Cognos and PAx reporting to support our Financial Planning & Analysis team. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of financial management principles, government regulations, and a proven track record of successfully overseeing financial systems to support forecasting and reporting.

This position is for a hybrid work arrangement at our corporate headquarters (4 times per month, flexible hours.) Westat's headquarters is currently in Rockville, Maryland but will be relocating to Bethesda, Maryland in late fall of 2025.

Job Responsibilities:
* Support the development of new processes, tools, and reports that add value to the decision-making process of the business.
* Lead efforts to develop new capabilities, applications and modernizing existing system features.
* Participate in building a culture that is team-oriented and committed to financial excellence through mentoring, training, and assisting to develop systems and processes for the FP&A department.
* Assist with the corporate annual planning process, quarterly forecasts, and quarterly business reviews.
* Stay current with trends in information technology and advise on innovative technologies and solutions.
* Participate in the development of future AI automation related to business processes and reporting.
* Develop, implement, and maintain SOP (Standard Operating Procedures)
* Assist with establishing and maintaining business management controls to ensure compliance with FAR, CAS, Contracts and Purchasing Teams.
* Other responsibilities as delegated/assigned by the Sr. Manager, Project Controls or the CFO

Basic Qualifications:
* Typically requires a bachelor's degree in related business field and at least 10 years of progressive system support experience.
* Experience with TM1 (Admin Support/Architecture/Backend systems and security), Deltek Costpoint (Interface), Cognos (report development) and PAx reporting (Excel Planning Analytics)
* Advanced knowledge of report development, multi-dimensional modeling concepts, understanding of financial planning and analysis, budget formulation, financial analysis, and general business operations.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Advanced experience identifying and implementing process improvements, improving internal controls, business process efficiencies and developing and implementing associated training.

* Demonstrated communication and collaborations skills with all levels of the organization.
* Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to independently establish priorities, manage projects, and execute complex business and financial assignments.
* Detail-oriented.
