Sr Financial Analyst

Your main responsibilities

PRIMARY FUNCTION / POSITION OVERVIEW:
* 3-to-5-year Factory Finance experience in multinational manufacturing facilities, cost accounting or finance background, strong financial analytical skills.
* Support Plant Controller in the following areas:
o Intercompany transactions including invoice entry and clearing.
o Materials' variance analysis (price & usage).
o Inventory cycle count and corresponding adjustments support analysis.
o Quality cost analysis
o Capital spending update reports.
o Productivity and headcount reports
o Financial assessment of risks via account reconciliation and variance analysis. Including GR/IR account.
o Support month end closing activities as needed.
o Interact and collaborate with other departments to drive execution of action plans and objectives' achievement.
o Look for opportunities to standardize and improve reports across locations/businesses.
* Assist Supply Chain (SC) management with achieving inventory targets, cycle counting, and corresponding adjustments support analysis.
* Lead financial closings activities and timely monthly reporting (including journal entry postings and accruals).
* Achieve direct costs budget targets by analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions by partnering with SC operational management.
* Provide support to the overall SC Finance weekly and monthly(closing) consolidation activities and reporting.
* Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with prompt response and reflection.
* Able to critically think, problem solve and execute/implement a solution.
* Inventory management skill in large size manufacturing environment
* Previous experience with SAP software. MM and FI functions
* Proficient in Excel
* Strong work ethic attitude, proactive to seek profitability opportunity within the organization.
* Business partnership with cross functional team


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


Financial and Accounting reporting:
- Inventory reports, including E&O
- Material Price Variance (MPV) & Material Usage Variance (MUV) analysis
- Capital spending YTD
- SC Finance reporting


Accounting and Financial Management:
- Account Reconciliations
- Inventory management and analysis for excess and obsolete material
- Make vs Buy analysis for insourcing production
- Material costing
- Various project support for the warehouse and manufacturing teams


Inventory Management support:
- Support the Inventory Management team on the corresponding scheduled counts. Count creation and analysis included.
- Inventory variance analysis, which Includes MPV review and GRIR review
- Local warehouse review and adjustments based on cycle counts inventory movements.
- Inventory Accuracy Reports (IRA)


Management presentation
- Support plants' controllers on the preparation of financial results reporting
- Reporting standardization
- SC Finance consolidation package


Internal and external audit:
- Support internal and external audit to ensure the plants' compliance


What you bring

EDUCATION:


Bachelor's degree majoring in Finance or Accounting.


Other Special Requirements:


CPA andSix Sigma (preferred)


FUNCTIONAL/TECHNICAL EXPERTISE (3 to 5 years):


1. Finance in manufacturing environment is preferred
2. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and drive results
3. Highly developed communication skills, verbal, written, interpersonal & presentation
4.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to quickly access and understand trends, circumstances, and root causes. Pro-actively proposes solutions
5. Hard-working and self-motivated work style
6. Focused on team play and team engagement
7. Ability to go into details but keeping oversight about what really matters
