The Program Marketing Specialist will serve as marketing campaign execution lead for client programs, will collaborate with sales staff, and advise on how best to leverage current and emerging marketing solutions. Individuals in this role must have a strong understanding of marketing communications, client service fundamentals and the business acumen to lead several marketing campaigns and manage competing timelines. You must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively with experience in media planning, campaign strategy, and reporting. The successful candidate will play an integral role in promoting awareness and growth of the organization and its scholarships and have a passion for student success and equity.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Plans, develops, implements, measures and optimizes multi-channel marketing strategies on behalf of sponsor scholarship programs, aligned with sponsor budget and objectives and Scholarship America's mission.
  • May interact directly with clients from top Fortune 500 corporations, community organizations and philanthropies.
  • Develops and oversees execution of promotional strategies of Scholarship America-administered scholarships to build and monitor program awareness across digital channels including, but not limited to, social media, web and email.
    • Contributes to and looks for process improvements.
    • Supports creation and management of communications materials, including program statistics and trends.
    • Reviews and proofs materials with a keen eye to reflect appropriate branding and voice.
    • Collects and reports results to determine campaign and project success.
    • Assists marketing team members with day-to-day marketing tasks and activities as requested

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent writing and editing abilities; able to communicate clearly to various audiences.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities with a strong project management skillset.
  • Experience planning and executing marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to grasp new & changing technologies.
  • Extremely detail-oriented, with a strong creative side.
  • A love for planning and scheduling.
  • A proven passion for social media.
  • Great communication skills to provide creative, solution-oriented results in timely manner.
  • Desire and ability to collaborate with team members and colleagues from multiple departments at all levels of organization.
  • Ability to represent Scholarship America to outside constituents.
  • Strong computer skills with experience using Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suites, WordPress (or comparable CMS); proficiency in social media and digital marketing.
  • Interest in the mission of Scholarship America and passionate about advancing its cause.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field of study.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a marketing capacity.

Full Pay Range: Exempt $48,300 - $60,400 - $72,500

This is the pay range for our staff in this position, from entry to fully independent and proficient in the role utilizing our propriety systems and processes. The candidate selected for this position will be offered a wage applicable to their background and skillset as aligned to our business.
