The primary purpose of this job is to coordinate the deliver, restock, and inventory verifications of internal material requirements to ensure timely receipt of required material and efficient delivery of finished product to customers. Performs clerical and physical tasks for shipment and/or receipt of goods Key accountabilities:
- Adheres to Integer's Values and all safety, environmental, security and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
- Performs all duties necessary to ensure that accurate and proper inventory levels are maintained for material, tooling and general supplies including cycle counting.
- Utilizes and maintains database(s) for Bill of Materials (BOM), as well as entering new information, determining part quantities, and reviewing requirements necessary for daily projects and equipment repairs.
- Creates and maintains various inventory reports and forms used for record keeping, including purchase requisitions.
- Participates in purchasing activities, ensuring material is received within the required timeframe to meet schedules; may include ordering products directly or indirectly from vendors.
- Prepares shipments and completes paperwork for outbound freight. Packages finished good materials and generates shipping orders to ensure delivery to customers.
- Reviews, documents, and checks incoming and/or outgoing shipment orders for accuracy.
- Reviews current part storage requirements and makes necessary adjustments.
- Allocates received part items to the appropriate stocking locations and/or designated project area.
- Reviews various part requirements, pulls requested parts from inventory, issues to respective department(s), and completes the various documentation required.
- Anticipates and communicates current and potential problems, solutions and opportunities for plant management action.
- Follows safety procedures regarding new and/or existing products.
- May be required to maintain asset property tag transfer records; for example, recording new assets and relocating missing assets.
- Applies continuous improvement/lean concepts to identify and eliminate non-value added tasks and/or activities.
- Timely and regular attendance.
- Performs other duties as required.
Schedule: 7am-3:30pm Monday- Friday Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, regulated industry experience preferred.
- Prior ERP or warehouse management system experience (Oracle preferred).
- High school graduate or equivalent. Qualification up to degree standard preferred.
Special Skills: - Excellent computer skills including Excel.
- Demonstrates effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Successfully interacts and cooperates with diverse groups within the company.
- Shows demonstrable skills with all equipment related to the department operations.
- Ability to communicate and work with those inside and outside the department, handle multiple assignments and prioritize accordingly. Ability to follow appropriate department policies, procedures and practices.
Specialized Knowledge: - Familiar with production procedures.
- Has thorough knowledge of procedures, work methods, and set-ups within the department.
- Knowledge of ERP system desired.
Physical Requirements: - Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
- Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud.
Salary $17.00- $24.32 per hour Our total rewards program is designed to attract, retain, and motivate associates to contribute to Integer's success.
