Job Description:

Cydecor is seeking a skilled Power Platform Developer to join our team and drive the development of innovative business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents). The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement custom applications, workflows, and reports modeled on a legacy system architecture and business process. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, user-friendly solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, and deploy custom business applications using Microsoft Power Apps (canvas, model-driven, and portal apps) into both managed and unmanaged environments.
  • Create and optimize automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline business processes.
  • Develop interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI to provide actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Integrate Power Platform solutions with Microsoft 365, Azure, and other third-party systems using connectors and APIs.
  • Collaborate with the product owner, business analysts, stakeholders, to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives and timelines.
  • Implement best practices for governance, security, and compliance within the Power Platform environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Power Platform applications and integrations.
  • Provide mentoring, training and documentation to the developers of legacy program solutions.
  • Stay updated on Power Platform updates, new features, and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions in both commercial and government cloud hosted tenants.

Here's what you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
  • Proficiency in building canvas and model-driven apps in Power Apps and creating complex workflows in Power Automate.
  • Experience with Power BI for data visualization and Power Query.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse, connectors, and integration with Microsoft 365.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Power Fx, JavaScript, C#, and SQL.
  • Strong understanding of database concepts and data modeling.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Microsoft certifications such as PL-100 (Microsoft Power Platform App Maker), PL-200 (Microsoft Power Platform Functional Consultant), or PL-400 (Microsoft Power Platform Developer).
  • Experience with Power Virtual Agents and AI Builder for developing intelligent automation solutions.
  • Knowledge of Azure services (e.g., Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, or Azure DevOps).
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools like Azure DevOps or Jira.
  • Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for custom UI/UX enhancements.
  • Understanding of governance frameworks for Power Platform, including Center of Excellence (CoE) Starter Kit.
  • Knowledge of the Department of Defense or Federal agencies.
  • US Navy background a plus.

Security Clearance:

  • Active Secret Clearance

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
