We have an opportunity for a Product Line Leader - Pool Filtration & Essentials to join our Charlotte, NC team. You will be accountable for the full lifecycle and performance of the Filtration & Essentials product lines, including revenue growth, margin optimization, and operational planning. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic vision, technical understanding, and cross-functional leadership to deliver products that delight owners and pool professional alike, differentiating Pentair in the market. In this high-visibility, high-impact role, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate broad organizational leadership, develop a high-performing team, and influence every aspect of the Pool business at Pentair.

You will:

  • Lead the Filtration & Essentials product management team to develop and execute category growth strategies.
  • Jointly with the sales team the commercial performance of the portfolio, including forecast, revenue, margin growth, and market share.
  • Manage a group of product managers and support staff, guiding their decision-making and ensuring quality execution.
  • Develop your team through effective coaching, communication, and career development.
  • Define and communicate a compelling product vision for Filtration & Essentials
  • Create and drive a product line strategy that integrates the opportunities within your product portfolio with broader category and business strategies.
  • Develop and manage the SIOP (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) process for your product lines to ensure supply-demand alignment and operational readiness.
  • Lead initiatives that generate profitable revenue and share growth.
  • Partner with other categories and product teams to ensure total Pentair solution is aligned and the clearest in class pool pad.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and operations to deliver innovative products that meet customer needs and business goals.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across product development, marketing, sales, and supply chain.
  • Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Ensure we meet our customers' high expectations for quality, on-time delivery, and support before and after the sale.
  • Lead the product planning process, including roadmap development, business case creation, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Establish KPIs and performance metrics to track product success and inform future investments.
  • Represent your product lines in executive reviews and strategic planning sessions.

Key Qualifications:

  • A BS in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management
  • 4+ years of people management experience preferred, or equivalent experience leading teams.
  • Proven success in leading cross-functional teams and launching customer-centric products.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
  • A passion for innovation, customer experience, and operational excellence
  • Ability to articulate a clear vision for the future of your product lines and bring that vision to life.
  • Product management experience in related fields, such as industrials, manufactured goods, hardware, and other durable goods
  • An understanding of different channels to market, including selling to and through wholesale distributors.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $110700 - $205600 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with a demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
