We have an opportunity for a Senior Product Line Leader - Pool Software Applications & Platforms - to join our Charlotte, NC team. You will bring a blend of strategic vision, technical fluency, and cross-functional leadership to deliver innovative, data-driven solutions that differentiate Pentair in the market.

You will:

  • Lead the software product management team, developing and executing a strategic roadmap that drives growth, engagement, and customer satisfaction.
  • Own the commercial performance of the software portfolio, including forecast, revenue, margin, and market share.
  • Define and communicate a compelling product vision that integrates AI, data, and platform capabilities to enhance the pool experience for both homeowners and service professionals.
  • Establish and grow platform partnerships, collaborating with external companies to develop API-based integrations and ecosystem solutions.
  • Develop and execute a data strategy that supports product innovation, analytics, and business intelligence.
  • Drive the integration of AI and machine learning into products to enable automation, personalization, and smarter decision-making.
  • Manage and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a high-performance culture through coaching, communication, and career development.
  • Collaborate with engineering, UX, design, and operations to deliver secure, scalable, and user-centric digital solutions.
  • Ensure cross-functional alignment across product development, marketing, sales, and supply chain.
  • Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Lead the product planning process, including roadmap development, business case creation, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Represent the software category in executive reviews and strategic planning sessions.
  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to track product success and guide continuous improvement.

Key Qualifications:

  • A BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, with 4+ years in people leadership roles.
  • Proven success in launching and scaling software products in B2B or B2C environments.
  • Deep understanding of cloud platforms, APIs, microservices, and modern software architecture.
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies, data platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A passion for innovation, customer experience, and operational excellence.
  • Experience working in or with industrial, manufacturing, or durable goods environments is a plus.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $128500 - $238600 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with a demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
