Description

The Systems Administrator will work with the Joint Threat Warning System-Air (JTWS-AIR) team administering, integrating and configuring tools onto Windows Servers and workstations to support Special Operations Command (SOCOM).

    Pulling updates for Microsoft patches and tools from various repositories, installing and updating the applications, and configuring each to successfully run on the system
  • Networking servers together in a software lab environment and working on potentially multiple systems and builds to be kept up to date and ready for on-time deployment/delivery
  • Working in a team environment to produce new builds to the IV&V group, and supporting any changes or making any fixes found by the testing group
  • Supporting quarterly and semi-annual update process working closely with an Information Assurance team to address vulnerabilities
  • Participating in the execution of the monthly build process and providing supporting documentation for information to support: trouble tickets/bug reports, Software Change Requests (SCR), input to the System Version Document (SVD), and any build plans and installation procedures; including the installation of GOTS and COTS software, troubleshooting, and extensive information systems security analysis and the controls implemented to secure a system

Requirements

  • Eligible for TS/SCI clearance
  • Sec+ Cert
  • 2+ years Linux & Windows experience
  • Eligible for and willing to undergo a DoD CI Polygraph


Desired Skills

  • Knowledge or experience with IA testing tools and scripts. (ACAS or Nessus, STIG Viewer, WASSP)
  • A+, N+, Security + certification
  • Cisco and other network interconnectivity devices
  • Experience with requirements analysis, development, and Agile Development
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience with Tactical SIGINT systems
  • Working knowledge of software version control systems, continuous integration tools, and their implementation (GIT, SVN, Maven, Jenkins)


Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE SECRET LEVEL WITH TOP SECRET / SCI ELIGIBILITY
