Our team is expanding and we're looking for engineers who have hands-on experience standing up Microsoft Dynamics platforms in enterprise environments. If you've led or contributed to Dynamics implementations from the ground up-especially with a focus on complex integrations across systems-we want to talk to you.

The ideal candidate will live within driving distance of the Omaha, Nebraska office.
If living in one of our approved states - this person will travel to the Omaha office for one week each quarter.

BCBSNE is happy to offer three work designations for our Omaha area employees: in-office, hybrid, and remote.
If choosing to work remote, this role can be located in one of the following states: Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Texas.

This role will work with senior business and technology teams to conceive, design and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications. This role will drive platform modernization using common API frameworks to deliver technical solutions for business stakeholders. Troubleshoot issues and bring continuous learning with Microsoft roadmap expertise.

What you'll do:

  • Work collaboratively on Agile-based design and solution development across Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CE, F&O, Power Platform)
  • Drive platform modernization by identifying opportunities for automation, integration, and optimization
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate complex needs into technical solutions
  • Build and maintain Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and custom connectors
  • Utilize common API frameworks, Logic Apps, AI models, and other Azure capabilities to connect functionality and align with stakeholder requirements
  • Champion DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and agile delivery
  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues with a focus on root cause and long-term stability
  • Continuous Microsoft roadmap learning to bring forward-thinking ideas to teams

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • Five or more (5+) years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Customer Engagement, Finance & Operations, Sales)
  • Deep understanding of D365 architecture, customization, and extension patterns
  • Strong experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
  • Proficiency in .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus)
  • Experience with data integration tools (e.g., KingswaySoft, Scribe) and RESTful APIs
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Proficiency with Dataverse
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) with bias for action

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement. The ability to meet or exceed the attendance and timeliness requirements of their departments. On-call work may be required based on business needs and role assignment. The ability to work well in a team environment and be capable of building and maintaining positive relationships with other staff, departments, and customers.

The strongest candidates for this position will also possess:

  • Microsoft certifications (e.g., Dynamics 365 + Power Platform Solution Architect)
  • Experience in healthcare, insurance, or other regulated industries
  • Experience with Dual-write, and Virtual Entities
  • Experience with D365 upgrades, migrations, and greenfield implementations
