Harmony Biosciences is recruiting for an Associate Director, Commercial Analytics in our Plymouth Meeting, PA location. In this role you will be responsible for partnering with Commercial stakeholders to help them understand and manage their business through data driven decision making. Sales and Marketing will be the primary stakeholders with additional support to other Commercial teams as required. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of product commercialization, the sales process, and patient journey, as well as the ability to connect operations to revenue-generating activities. This individual in this position needs to be a specialist in championing system education, implementation, and process refinements that directly enable Commercial functions to maximize their understanding of our data and drive business impact.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support Sales and Marketing excellence by providing analytics and reporting to measure business performance and enable leadership to effectively manage their business through data driven decision making.
  • Define and refine KPIs for the Commercial organization to gain insights into the health of the organization and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the Commercial organization to react and take proactive action based on internal and external market dynamics.
  • Lead development of reporting solutions within Harmony's business intelligence applications (in collaboration with analytics vendors) for utilization across the Sales and Marketing teams, and manage rollout and training for end users.
  • Lead data science projects to utilize machine learning to assist with prioritizing HCP targets, field activity and messaging, and marketing tactic implementation.
  • Support development and refinement of HCP targeting and call planning to enable optimal territory planning by the Sales team.
  • Partner with the Marketing team to develop and execute analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of HCP and patient marketing tactics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MS/MBA or other advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years' experience in pharmaceutical/biotechnology commercial analytics functions required
  • Knowledge of the rare disease patient journey, including patient services, market access, specialty pharmacy and closed distribution networks strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis while translating the results into easily digestible messages, communications, and presentations to a broader commercial audience
  • Experience with business intelligence platforms (e.g., Qlik, Power BI, Tableau) strongly preferred
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite; Advanced knowledge of Excel & PowerPoint required

Physical demands and work environment:

  • Domestic travel is estimated to be 10% of the time for this position.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include: Close vision.
  • Manual dexterity required to use computers, tablets, and cell phone.
  • Continuous sitting for prolonged periods.
