As Sr. Project Manager, you'll be responsible for the execution of IT infrastructure, application development, project planning and execution, and business growthwith the goal to make an impact across the federal government.

What you'll do:



  • Build and promote the empowerment of the team, ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the program and making a meaningful contribution, and encourage a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team.
  • Be responsible for all layers of Resource Management, including developing, evaluating resources, and ensuring that all Contractor personnel work collaboratively and professionally with Government and personnel from other contracts.
  • Perform oversight of the recruitment and retention of top talent, performing Quality Assurance, and communicating verbally and in writing to address changes and challenges.
  • Interact frequently with project stakeholders concerning project.
  • Evaluate, prioritize, and manage the impacts of program scope changes.
  • Escalate program risks to the appropriate MetroStar and client stakeholders.
  • Report to senior leadership from both internal and Department of State executives.
  • Report to a MetroStar Program Director who will provide support, guidance, information, and resources to help you be successful.


What you'll need to succeed:



  • 10+ years of project management experience
  • 5+ years of Agile SDLC Project Management experience, leading the development of complex applications in a cloud environment
  • Experience with data center operations, IT Infrastructure management, systems engineering, or IT program management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish/maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence.
  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • A CompTIA, CISSP, Microsoft, or ITIL Certifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; graduate-level studies and/or additional training in technical subjects are highly desirable
  • An active Secret security clearance


SALARY RANGE: $119,000 - $172,000

The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:



  • The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
  • The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
  • Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
  • This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:


    • Performance-based bonuses
    • Company-paid training and/or certifications
    • Referral bonuses
