The IT Support Specialist I position will maintain and improve the technical systems to ensure all employees have the technology they need to complete their work.
As an IT Support Specialist I, you will:
- Provides technical support to users by researching and answering questions, troubleshooting problems, and maintaining workstation performance.
- Provides answers to users by identifying problems, researching answers, and guiding users through corrective steps.
- Ensure the smooth operation of hardware systems by coordinating maintenance and repairs for personal computers.
- Installing new software and hardware components.
- Supporting the day-to-day operations of our computer network.
- Uphold Nicolet's philosophy and policies by maintaining appropriate controls to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, thereby fulfilling legal responsibilities and enhancing the quality of services provided by Nicolet.

Qualifications:
- Pursuing/completed a two year or four-year degree in Information Technology or related field
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing and active listening.
- Good organization, time management and prioritization.
- Efficient troubleshooting abilities.
- Great customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and resourceful with strong research skills.
- Ability to travel to different locations.
- Ability to work fully in office.
