POSITION SUMMARY:

The Dominium Architecture team is responsible for the Architectural project management of affordable tax credit new construction and rehab Architecture projects. We work with local firms during the Schematic Design and Entitlement phases of projects, then take over the production and management of the projects from Design Development through Construction Administration.

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Architectural Project Manager to focus on the management of these projects, including client services to our internal Developers, coordination with consultants, and the financial health of the projects. This position will be full-time in the Dallas office. An ideal candidate would have 10+ years in architectural project management. Experience working on multi-family and tax-credit housing projects with housing agencies is a plus.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:



  1. Works closely with the VP of Architecture and other staff in creating drawing and specification standards.
  2. Responsible for assisting in the project life cycle from concept through construction, to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.
  3. Creates project plans for all phases of projects and coordinates building design consultants while monitoring drawings.
  4. Assists in defining project scope of work.
  5. Incorporates Dominium design prototypes and/or standards to all projects.
  6. Works closely with the internal Construction team and external contractors to produce documents that will be efficient, consistent, and contractor friendly.


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Professional Degree required, registered Architect a plus
  • 10+ years of industry experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Word), and proficiency in Bluebeam and plan editing software.
  • Advanced proficiency in Revit, with at least 5 years of demonstrated experience in a professional setting.
  • Experience coordinating with other team members and external consultants.
  • Experience working with housing agencies and tax credit housing experience a plus.
  • Experience in new construction and renovation projects.
  • Strong graphic and visualization skills to create design ideas and detail standards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
