YOU

As the Logistics Manager, you will lead and optimize our logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution. The ideal candidate will ensure that every step of the supply chain process is running efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with customer expectations and company goals.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Oversee and manage logistics, transportation, and order fulfillment in the Northwest Region. Develop and implement logistics strategies that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve customer service. (30%)

Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, 3PLs, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international shipping regulations, including customs, safety, and environmental standards. Negotiate contracts and agreements with logistics service providers. (20%)

Analyze data to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement in shipping, warehousing, and procurement processes. Utilize logistics software and technology to improve tracking, planning, and reporting capabilities. (20%)

Monitor logistics budgets and prepare regular reports on KPIs such as transportation costs, delivery times, and service levels. (20%)

Plan and coordinate logistics activities during peak periods, product launches, or special projects (10%)

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

If you can do everything listed above, you've got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:

  • Proven experience as a Logistics Manager, Supply Chain Manager, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics, warehouse, and inventory management systems.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP or WMS software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Professional certifications such as APICS (CPIM, CSCP) or Six Sigma are a plus.
  • Understanding of lean logistics and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience managing both domestic and international logistics operations.
  • Familiarity with import/export regulations and documentation.
  • Project management experience is a plus.

This job requires up to 50% domestic travel.

WORK STATUS & LOCATION

This full-time, exempt position is located in Stockton. It is not eligible for remote work.

RELOCATION

Relocation is not available for this position.

Pay

$79,200 - 126,700/ year
