We have an opportunity for a Senior Revenue Accountant to join our Revenue Accounting Team in Tacoma, WA, reporting to the Revenue Accounting manager. In this pivotal role, you will shape and support how our revenue accounting operates by leveraging technology, driving automation, and fostering alignment across teams. Collaborating closely with Finance, IT, and many other organizations within Infoblox, you will be a change agent that makes a lasting impact in a growing company. This is a hybrid role, with two days per week in our Tacoma office, or remote for candidates outside the Seattle metro area.

Be a Contributor - What You'll Do

• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Assist in the execution and design of revenue recognition processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with GAAP and ASC 606 standards
• Fulfill internal revenue reporting recurring and ad-hoc requests, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clarity
• Support and execute the implementation of automation solutions and artificial intelligence to streamline revenue operations and reporting workflows
• Support projects from inception to completion, including scoping, stakeholder alignment, execution, and post-implementation review
• Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Product, IT, OM, GL, and AR teams to ensure contracts and amendments are properly accounted for and recognized
• Assist with internal and external audit processes, including preparation of audit schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries

Be Prepared - What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred
• Experience with revenue recognition software, Oracle Fusion, Salesforce, and Tableau is a plus
• Solid understanding of ASC 606 and revenue recognition principles
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Excellent project ownership and ability to drive initiatives independently
• Initiative in exploring AI tools and their potential applications in finance or operations
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams
• Ability to think strategically in problem solving while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in revenue accounting or related roles

Be Successful - Your Path

Six Months: Solidify your understanding of revenue positions, operations, systems, and opportunities for improvement. You'll begin to take on projects and lead initiatives.

One Year: Be a strategic partner in driving cross-functional alignment, process automation, and organizational change. You'll own internal reporting, lead automation initiatives, and collaborate across departments to deliver scalable solutions that support our evolving business.
