Overview: This position is in the Center for Childhood Cancer Research in Dr. Emily Theisen's lab. We study the underlying biology of Ewing sarcoma with the goal of identifying therapeutic vulnerabilities. The postdoc is expected to take a lead role in a project involving biochemical, biophysical and functional analysis of intrinsically disordered oncogenic fusion proteins using recombinant proteins, molecular cell biology, and genomics approaches in models of Ewing sarcoma. Experience in some or all of these areas is desirable, with priority given to protein purification and advanced genomics approaches to assay nuclear proteins.
