Job Summary Responsible for coordinating, delivering, and maintaining the training processes for team members. Ensures training standards are met, materials remain current, and team members are effectively prepared to perform their roles. Serves as a mentor and resources, supporting junior team members, collaborating with training labs, and promoting workforce development through coaching, feedback, performance tracking, and documentation. Provides support to leadership team. Key Responsibilities
- Provides directions and guidance in scheduling, planning, training, and certification process, including providing information, training, feedback, documentation, and reporting.
- Supports team and business needs providing orientation, safety courses, and similar style training including on-the-job training (OJT), and practical's.
- Works with junior team members and training lab to support training needs providing assistance, guidance, documentation, and coaching during and after the training experience.
- Provides all required formal training to team members, including instructing courses in a classroom environment and using training resources, digital media, and E-learning.
- Reviews and updates reporting, records, progression tracking, and documentation of associates.
- Works with the team to keep trainings reviewed and updated.
- Facilitates hands-on learning, evaluates trainee progress, and recommends certification upon completion.
Helps team members grow and develop.
Minimum Qualifications (Educations & Experience)
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 5+ years of relevant experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role
- will consider a combination of experience and 2 years post high school education in related field
- Extensive safety training in OSHA compliance: Outreach Trainer Instructor for OSHA 10-30 Hour Courses; or willingness to attend and complete compliance

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- MEL status within the IMTWS to required standards
- Bilingual - English, Spanish, Creole
- Technical abilities and knowledge within industrial systems and maintenance
Software knowledge including Microsoft Office - Access, Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint, Outlook, SAP / CMMS, Adobe software extending to Acrobat, Outstart Trainer or Tranvantis Lectora
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate equipment, computer, telephone, keyboard, and occasionally climb and lift up to or about 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions & Travel Requirements
- Work will be performed in a variety of conditions including a climate-controlled office environment(s) and in a manufacturing plant environment with varying conditions, such as cold areas, wet areas, warm areas, chemicals, and other site conditions. This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment while in the manufacturing environment.
- The noise level of the office environment is usually moderate; the noise level in the manufacturing environment may exceed 85 DBA and require hearing protection.
- Occasional travel may be required
