Staffmark is hiring! Join a growing organization in West Memphis, AR
as an Administrative Assistant. In this role, you'll provide essential office support across administrative, HR, and payroll functions while helping the team maintain an organized, efficient workplace.

Pay: $17.00/hr

Shift: Monday - Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:



  • Answer and direct incoming calls on the main switchboard
  • Greet and assist visitors, vendors, and job applicants at reception
  • Maintain records and file employee documents
  • Manage office and janitorial supplies inventory
  • Support plant management as needed
  • Maintain purchase order processes and vendor files in Telnet system
  • Track and reconcile temporary employee hours and invoices
  • Reconcile daily attendance in ADP Payroll system and run weekly payroll reports
  • Assist HR Manager with new hire processes, terminations, and other tasks
  • Support employees with payroll questions and HR-related inquiries
  • Track employee attendance, PTO, and points system; maintain monthly time-off calendar
  • Generate and submit employee evaluations and update pay rates or job descriptions as needed



Qualifications & Requirements:



  • Minimum High School Diploma
  • 2-3 years of experience as an Administrative or HR Assistant
  • ADP Payroll experience
  • Experience with invoicing, purchasing, and ordering supplies a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Customer service and teamwork orientation
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
