As part of HVAC Cooling, SPX Cooling Technologies is a leader in high quality industrial HVAC equipment used to cool large facilities like hospitals, data centers, and power plants. With cooling towers, fans, and refrigeration units, companies rely on brands like Marley, Recold, and SGS to provide comfort and mission critical and industrial cooling solutions.

How you will make an Impact (Job Summary)

SPX is a diverse team of unique individuals who all make an impact. As a Marketing Communications Specialist, you will fuel demand and strengthen global brand awareness by turning technical expertise into compelling stories across the website, email, media, social, webinars and events. You'll partner closely with Product Management and Sales to translate launches into multichannel campaigns and use insights to continually improve engagement and lead flow.

What you can expect in this role (Job Responsibilities)

While each day brings new opportunities at SPX, your core responsibilities will be:

  1. Product Launches & Campaign Storytelling
  • Writes case studies, blogs, newsletters, brochures and whitepapers that clearly articulate value and differentiation.
  • Partner with Product Management and Sales on positioning, proof points and thought leadership; maintain a shared editorial calendar.
  • Package campaign assets for reuse across web, email, social, PR and events to drive awareness, nurture buyer journeys and convert interest into qualified leads.
  1. Social Content & Channel Voice
  • Execute the global media relations program including securing advertising opportunities, editorial, press releases and articles in print and online trade publications.
  • Drive the social editorial calendar, crafting on-brand posts, captions and creative briefs.
  • Actively monitor and engage with our online community - responding to comments, sharing relevant content, and fostering conversations that strengthen relationships and enhance brand reputation.

3. Web Content & On-Page SEO

  • Own messaging and maintain consistency of voice and brand across global pages and regional adaptations.
  • Optimize headlines, metadata and internal linking using SEO best practices; partners with Digital Ops for site health, GA4 dashboards and technical SEO.

What we are looking for (Experience, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education)

We each bring something to the table, and we are looking for someone who has:

Required Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of B2B marketing communications experience, with a portfolio spanning case studies, articles, brochures, email, web and social content.
  • Proven writing, editing and storytelling skills across digital and print; demonstrated aptitude for translating technical concepts into value propositions and marketing materials.
  • Email marketing and nurture experience (HubSpot or similar): segmentation, testing and performance reporting.
  • Web content and basic SEO proficiency.
  • Social content and channel voice experience: editorial calendar ownership, community engagement, and coordination with Digital Ops for scheduling/paid.
  • Proven media relations track record
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects with shifting priorities and deadlines.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • MarTech familiarity: HubSpot (forms, workflows, lists), GA4 dashboards and UTM discipline; comfort collaborating with Digital Ops on site health/analytics
  • PR tools/processes (e.g. Cision or similar)
  • Design/video collaboration skills: ability to brief, review and iterate
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite a plus

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, journalism, public relations or a related field.
  • Preferred/plus:HubSpot Email Marketing or Inbound certification;Google Analytics (GA4) certification; PRSA or comparable professional development.

Travel & Working Environment

  • Travel up to ~10%, including 2-4 trips per year for professional development, trade shows, customer events, site visits, and video/photo shoots.
  • Office/hybrid environment with extended periods of computer work; collaboration with teams across time zones.
  • Periodic visits to manufacturing or R&D facilities to gather content or capture visuals, following all safety protocols.
