Job Overview

The Administrative Coordinator at Systems Control is responsible for maintaining the efficient operation of the office, providing support to staff and assisting in the coordination of administrative tasks. This role involves scheduling meetings, maintaining records, handling communications, as well as assisting with various administrative duties as needed. The Administrative Coordinator ensures daily operations run smoothly, and internal and external communications are managed effectively. This is an onsite position in Des Moines, Iowa.

A Day In The Life

Every day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by:



  • Maintaining office supplies, equipment, and ensuring a clean and orderly work environment
  • Entering and managing data in spreadsheets and databases
  • Supporting staff members in their administrative needs
  • Prepare/Release of production job packets
  • Plot drawings
  • Scan documents/drawings
  • File customer project documentation
  • Maintain drawing configuration control
  • Expedite customer drawing submittals
  • Collection of production drawing for documentation

What will help you thrive in this role?

  • Equivalent high school education (required) Associate's Degree (preferred)
  • Minimum1-2 years of office experience (preferred)
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Suite software programs (required)
  • Proven experience in an administrative or office support role
  • Accuracy in filing, indexing, keyboarding, and other record maintenance routine
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work independently and with team members
  • Strong problem solving and time management abilities
  • Adaptability and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Work well under deadlines
  • Proficient with use of plotters, scanners, copiers
  • Ability to use AutoCAD, Creo and MicroStation a plus
