Job Description

The Associate Coordinator-Business Development position has a crucial role in our Team. The Associate Coordinator initiates the internal Request for Proposal (RFP) quoting process upon receiving the dental and vision RFP documents from the strategic partner field offices. This position also requires conducting the initial review of the RFP documents and distributing cases in accordance with workflow guidelines in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner. This role provides customer service and acts as an internal liaison between external field partners and internal operational departments by responding to submission inquiries.



Position Location: This position is remote and does not require regular in-office presence.



What you do:



  • As the initial contact with our partner field customers, the incumbent delivers prompt and courteous customer service through daily interactions with internal and external customers.
  • The incumbent is responsible for overseeing the strategic partners' RFP in-box, ensuring cases are logged in timely for processing and for meeting the RFP turnaround time service standard metrics.
  • Review incoming proposal requests for accuracy and completeness and responsible for saving documents to folders and assigning cases according to workflow guidelines.
  • Provides backup and assists with reviewing and logging the small case RFP and the partner-sold case submissions.
  • Provides general administrative office support, including database reporting and generating reports and related materials.


What you bring:



  • H.S. Diploma or GED required
  • Less than 2 years related experience acceptable
  • Intermediate Excel and Word skills
  • Preferred experience working with Microsoft Access Database.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • High degree of organization and prioritization skills
  • Detail-oriented and operates with accuracy in a fast-paced environment
  • General Knowledge of Group insurance products and bid process is helpful

About this Position's Pay
The pay range posted reflects a nationwide minimum to maximum covering all potential locations where the position may be filled. The final determination on pay for any position will be based on multiple factors including role, career level, work location, skill set, and candidate level of experience to ensure pay equity within the organization. This position will be eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits package (see above for details). This position will be eligible to participate in our Short-Term Incentive Plan with the annual target defined by the plan.
