National Grid is hiring a Lead Engineer, Electrical Planning and Design for Massachusetts. This is a Hybrid Role - Must live within a commutable distance to one of our locations Job Purpose
Working on the development and implementation of National Grid's Distributed Energy Resource Management System (DERMS), which is an exciting new way for National Grid to manage and support the integration for high volumes of renewable energy connected across the service territory. This role will be serving to support the development of that system and its implementation in Massachusetts. The successful candidate will develop the tool for control and monitoring of assets through the DERMS platform, aligning with the company's Future Grid plan submitted under the Massachusetts Electric Sector Modernization Plan (ESMP). Includes development of communication pathways, control schemes, and equipment to implement, as well as project management toward connection of DERMS enabled facilities. Key Accountabilities
