Job Overview:

As a Temporary Benefits Advisor II,you will be at the forefront of providing guidance to small and medium-sized businesses across the United States with a focus on Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting compliance while using Mitratech's ACA Reporting Tool. You will consult with customers to address their inquiries clearly and efficiently, offering personable and timely solutions to their ACA Reporting requests, and building trust while adhering to service-level expectations. Your deep ACA Reporting knowledge, collaborative spirit, and results orientation will be instrumental in enhancing the customer experience and elevating our company's goals.

U.S. Based Applicants Only: This is a temporary, full-time, non-exempt role reporting to the Manager, Benefits Expert Services. . We anticipate the role will start in late November/early December 2025 and last through early April 2026. No benefits are offered. This role can be fully remote and available anywhere in the U.S., with no travel required. AnticipatedUNITED STATES Pay Range:$45/Hour USD

Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Deliver ACA compliance support to U.S.-based small and medium-sized businesses by applying your training and growing expertise with Mitratech's ACA Reporting Tool, along with your research skills and professional judgment
  • Consult with clients via phone and in writing to address ACA reporting (e.g., Forms 1094 & 1095 B/C) clearly and promptly.
  • Support client calls in accordance with scheduled daily phone time following an internal triage and transfer process on a broad range of ACA reporting inquiries.
  • Adhere to service level expectations regarding response times and adapt to varying levels of volume, reprioritizing work as appropriate.
  • Collaborate and build trusting relationships with colleagues across Mitratech in support of company goals and elevating the client experience.
  • Proactively identify and raise areas for workflow improvements that better enable our collective team to deliver impactful client services efficiently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements & Skills:



  • Strong customer service skills: ability to translate complicated topics and regulations into real-world and actionable client communication that is easy to understand.
  • Proven experience in an applied environment, such as:
  • Experience working with ACA Reporting solutions for employer groups ; or
  • Experience acting as an external advisor, or
  • Some equivalent combination of the above.
  • Understanding of rules and federal laws that apply to ACA Reporting
  • Ability to see the "big picture", while working within the details.
  • Ability to organize and efficiently manage multiple priorities with a keen sense of urgency.
  • High level of discretion and ability to maintain client confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication (written and oral).
  • Ability and willingness to become fluent in Mitratech's ACA Reporting Tool
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot basic technical and software issues with available resources.
  • Strong Internet navigation and research skills.
  • Preferred:
  • One of the following certifications: PHR, SHRM-CP, GBA or equivalent benefits certification
