SUMMARY The Associate Vice President reports to the Chief Ambulatory Officer, administering and managing the assigned ambulatory sites. Establishes and maintains positive relationships and interacts professionally with patients, visitors and other team members consistent with maintaining and furthering a positive public perception of Grady Health System. Contributes to and participates in the Performance/Quality Improvement activities of assigned departments and adherence to polices and procedures. Develops comprehensive and realistic short and long plans. When planning, considers industry trends, budgets and timetables, integrates planning efforts across work/program units. Collaborates with all operational AVP's, VP's and directors, team members across the health systems, internal and external stakeholders and all locations to enhance the health and wellbeing of our ambulatory patients. Strategic Leadership Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance the delivery of care and prevention services, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, mission and vision. Provide visionary leadership to the ambulatory team, fostering a culture of high-reliability, safety, innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Supervises Ambulatory Division Directors of Practice Operations of assigned clinics Program Development and Management Oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of ambulatory programs and services. Ensure compliance with requirements and standards while continuously seeking opportunities for improved program funding to achieve services expansion. Performs staff evaluation and performance initiatives Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments, community organizations, government agencies, and other key stakeholders. Advocate, under the guidance of the Chief Ambulatory Officer, for the needs of individuals within Grady Health System Ambulatory Division. Quality Improvement Lead efforts to monitor and improve the quality of care and services provided to individuals within the Grady Health System. Implement evidence-based practices and stay abreast of industry trends to drive continuous improvement. Financial Management Completes payroll and purchasing for the ambulatory clinics Oversee the budgets for ambulatory care clinics and prevention services, ensuring efficient resource allocation, financial sustainability and advancement. Participate in establishing and monitoring site specific budget, performance standards and on target performance standards (OTPS) Develops and executes initiatives toward revenue generation by proficient command in template management. Ensures site specific open encounter visit report is reconciled with clinicians and closed in a timely manner Additional duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS Master's Degree in Management Health Administration, Business Administration, Nursing or related field 5 years of leadership experience in healthcare Must be operationally astute and understanding broad organizational and business issues.
