Description
Customer Service & Warehouse Representative
Location: Tempe, AZ (On-Site) At Stellar, every team member contributes to our success. We value people who take initiative, support one another, and are willing to step in where needed to help our customers and team succeed.
Job Summary
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and delivering exceptional service. This position focuses primarily on customer service and order processing, with the opportunity to cross-train in warehouse operations for those interested in developing broader skills. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn. An interest in industrial tools, metalworking, or MRO products is helpful but not required.
Customer Service (Primary Focus)
Provide friendly, professional assistance to customers via phone, email, and online.
Accurately process quotes, orders, and returns using our ERP system (Epicor Prophet 21).
Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
Support sales and product teams with pricing, delivery status, and product details.
Expedite service requests with urgency and attention to detail.
Participate in ongoing training to build knowledge of Stellar's products and services.
Cross-Training in Warehouse Operations (Secondary)
Learn to receive incoming shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
Assist in organizing and maintaining stock locations.
Support order fulfillment activities such as picking, packing, and preparing shipments when needed.
Follow all safety and housekeeping standards to maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Qualifications
Required Knowledge and Skills
Proficient inMicrosoft Office programs, specifically Outlook and Excel.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish bilingual ability preferred but not required.
Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect positively with customers and colleagues.
Experience with ERP systems such as Epicor's Prophet 21 preferred but not required.
Desire to continually learn and improve.
Strong attention to detail and consistent follow-up.
Ability to work on-site at our Tempe, AZ branch.
Experience
1-3 years of customer service experience, preferably in an industrial, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
Education
Physical Demands
Moderate physical effort including frequent standing, walking, bending, and repetitive tasks.
Frequent handling of light objects and occasional handling of heavier items as required in warehouse operations.
Ability to lift up to 25lbsoccasionally and move about the warehouse if cross-trained in operations.
