Bellisario College of Communications seeks a professional with video and multimedia production experience to teach courses in video production, digital media production, production management, and video programming strategies, in the Department of Telecommunications and Media Industries and the Department of Film, Video, and Media Studies. The faculty member, appointed at the rank of Lecturer in the College, will teach students aiming at professional careers in the content creation, multimedia production, and broadcast industries. Beyond teaching, responsibilities include advising and mentoring students and active service to the university, profession, and wider community. This is a renewable non-tenure track appointment, with an anticipated start date of Spring 2026. The selected candidate is expected to teach 3 courses per semester in the above-named departments. Candidates must have demonstrated experience as producer or director in video or multimedia projects in broadcast stations or other professional settings. A minimum of five years of experience in professional video or multimedia production/post-production is required. This position requires the candidate to have a master's degree or its equivalent, or to be an active candidate for a terminal degree. University teaching experience is preferred.
