As an IT Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing Tier 1/2 technical support across the organization. This position handles escalated incidents from Tier 1, performing advanced troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues for hardware, software, networking, and peripheral devices.
*Key Responsibilities: * * Solve complex tech issues-whether it's hardware, software, networking, mobile devices, or peripheral devices (printers, scanners). If needed, escalate issues to Tier 3 or relevant engineering teams. * Monitor systems and ticket queues. Participate in post-incident reviews and implement findings to minimize recurrence of issues. * Manage hardware and software inventory through asset management tools, assisting with tracking, imaging, configuration, and deployment. Ensure systems are compliant with organizational standards and security guidelines. * Provide rotational coverage of the support phone queue, assisting Tier 1 by handling overflow and high-priority incoming calls when necessary, and ensuring timely escalation or resolution of complex incidents. * Help out on the support phone line when needed-especially for overflow or urgent calls-and make sure issues get resolved or escalated quickly. * Make sure all fixes and setups follow IT policies and security best practices. Help with software updates, patching, and infrastructure changes. *Skills You'll Use: * * Windows OS, Office 365, Intune, Azure, Mac support * Troubleshooting and imaging systems * Strong communication and teamwork * Solid understanding of networking and telecom basics * Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and travel if needed *Qualifications: * * At least 2 years of experience solving issues with PCs, printers, phones, and infrastructure in a corporate role * Experience supporting/using tools such as Windows 10/11, Office 365, and InTune *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
