The Senior Site Commissioning Manager participates in the test room tests including Factory System Test. He or she organizes and manages activities related to all "on site tests activities" and operation before handing over the project to customer. He/she is also involved in the planning and preparation of the commissioning program for the project. Furthermore he/she is responsible for the writing of the detailed subsystem and system test instructions as applicable. This is more than a job-it's a mission. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, and consultants to ensure seamless execution of commissioning activities from factory testing to final handover. You'll be the technical authority on-site, orchestrating the performance of systems that keep the lights on and the world moving. How You'll Make an Impact
Lead and coordinate all on-site commissioning activities. Participate in Factory System Tests and ensure readiness for site execution. Develop and manage detailed subsystem and system test instructions. Interface with customers and consultants to resolve technical issues. Ensure all tests meet contract conditions and customer expectations. Maintain and update site documentation and software throughout the commissioning phase. Monitor time and cost estimates, and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Support site planning and coordination with the Site Manager. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
Minimum three years' experience on-site as a Commissioning Engineer. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent work experience. Proven experience with plants of varying size, complexity, and technologies. Strong understanding of grid integration and power systems. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to lead technical discussions and manage documentation. Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
