Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as a Business Manager. This dual role combines supporting business development efforts with overseeing day-to-day office operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to balance administrative responsibilities with client-facing and growth-focused tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development Support
- Assist in identifying new business opportunities through market research and networking.
- Support proposal development, RFP responses, and client presentation materials.
- Maintain and update CRM system with leads, prospects, and client interactions.
- Coordinate meetings, calls, and follow-ups with prospective and existing clients.
- Track business development metrics, prepare reports, and support pipeline management.
- Help manage marketing initiatives, including social media, email campaigns, and event coordination.
Office Management
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, including supplies, vendors, and facility needs.
- Serve as the point of contact for internal and external communications.
- Manage calendars, scheduling, travel arrangements, and meeting logistics.
- Support HR functions such as onboarding new employees and maintaining records.
- Ensure smooth communication and collaboration across departments.
- Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical) and office policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in business development, sales support, or office management.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Positive, proactive, and professional demeanor.
