Director, HR Business Partner
San Mateo, CA (hybrid) - will require coming onsite twice a week*

We seek a strategic Director, HR Business Partner to join our global People team and make a lasting impact by supporting executives who lead customer-facing and corporate functions within our business. Reporting to the Senior Director, HRBP for Sales, Marketing and Corporate Functions, you will act as a strategic thought partner and advisor to senior executives, developing a people strategy that delivers on business demands. You will support leaders navigating the complexity of change as the organization continues to grow and evolve.

This role offers the opportunity to work globally, influencing leaders as we build the future of SIE. You will drive the talent strategy and play a pivotal role in enabling team innovation and success. You will advocate for ongoing learning, innovation and collaboration within teams. As the HRBP, you lead the development and execution of a Human Capital Plan (HCP) that enables transformation and improves team effectiveness. Like data? We've got it. You will collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Talent Enablement and People Analytics to develop and deploy evidence-based, proactive solutions for your business.

What You Bring



  • 15+ years of progressive HRBP experience in global, matrixed organizations - supporting executive leaders within the business or corporate functions.
  • Success as a trusted advisor and thought partner to C-suite leaders, with the gravitas and influence to drive impact at the highest levels.
  • Expertise in organizational strategy and change.
  • Strategic, data-driven growth mindset able to turn insights into action.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and a natural relationship-builder to leaders and employees alike.
  • Innate ability to sort through the noise and deliver what drives the greatest impact.
  • A sense of humor coupled with the ability to get the job done.


Requirements



  • Ability to travel internationally 4-5 times per year with business leaders as required (primarily London & Tokyo) with potential for additional domestic trips.
  • Onsite at our San Mateo campus 1-2 times/week (client dependent).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role's base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

In addition, this role

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$230,800 $346,200 USD
