 Job Summary:We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician (Maintenance I) to support equipment reliability and facility operations within our manufacturing plant. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on a wide range of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. This position plays a critical role in ensuring minimal downtime and maximum equipment efficiency.
 Key Responsibilities: 
 
  
 Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and building systems.Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues in a manufacturing environment.Repair or replace faulty components, such as motors, sensors, belts, gearboxes, and valves.Operate and maintain tools and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, torque wrenches, and calipers.Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, schematics, and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.Support installation and setup of new machinery and equipment.Log maintenance activities and parts usage in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and assist in minimizing production downtime.Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve recurring issues.Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), OSHA, and facility-specific protocols.Maintain a clean and organized work area.
 
 
 Qualifications: 
 
  
 High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field preferred.2-5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, HVAC systems, and automated machinery is a plus.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Basic computer skills for entering maintenance records and reports.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Must be able to work shift, weekends, and overtime as needed.
 
 
 Physical Requirements: 
 
  
 Stand, walk, climb, bend, and kneel for extended periods.Lift or move objects up to 50 lbs.Work in various environmental conditions (heat, cold, noise, humidity).Use ladders, lifts, and hand/power tools safely.
