Additional Compensation Details:

  • $60,400K- $84,600K annually
  • Potential 90-day performance-based raise

Job Description

The Deli Account Manager plays a key role in driving sales growth by serving as a trusted partner to grocery store deli accounts. This position is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, strengthening existing partnerships, and delivering exceptional customer service to ensure long-term success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • All employees are responsible for food safety and are expected to notify the appropriate manager, supervisor, or key personnel if they witness any compromise to food safety or food quality
  • Provide sales and merchandising support to assigned retail customers
  • Grow sales within an assigned book of business, pursue new business opportunities as directed by management
  • Manage customer accounts including pricing, taking orders, issuing credits, resolving issues, and other responsibilities needed to maintain the customer relationship
  • Evaluate overall customer satisfaction and report opportunities to management
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with various department managers, store owners, and other employees
  • Work closely with Retail and Merchandising teams to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain monthly calendar of activities and a flexible schedule to ensure customer needs are met
  • Provide merchandising support and resets as needed

Peripheral Duties:

  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager, including merchandising support, resets, demos, trade shows, etc.
Qualifications
  • Two (2) years of merchandising, retail, or sales experience
  • Deli, food production, or restaurant experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation; must be able to travel to customer locations in personal or company vehicle
  • Acceptable driving record and proof of insurance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) / Microsoft Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to multi-task and stay organized
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
