Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm has an exciting opportunity for a limited-term, full-time engineering intern to work on transportation projects starting May/June 2026 and ending in August/September 2026 in our Lexington, North Charleston or Myrtle Beach, SC locations.

Interns should expect the following from a summer internship experience with Mead & Hunt:

  • Exposure to projects and people in all of our transportation groups
  • Collaborate with project managers and colleagues on multiple transportation projects that vary in size and scope while developing familiarity with the federal, state, and local design standards
  • Utilize technical software programs to analyze, prepare, and quality check client deliverables.
  • Field observations and data collection
  • Assist with preparation of technical reports and memos
  • Participation in technical and client meetings
  • Fun team-building activities that will allow you to network with professionals and interns alike

Interns will be expected to visit project sites for data collection as well as out-of-office meetings and events. Therefore, a valid driver's license is recommended.
