Job Purpose The work involved is related to the overall management and general business of the Senior Application Engineering Data Analyst function. Essential Duties and Responsibilities A primary duty is to exercise discretion and independent judgment when dealing with critical matters within the Motive Power Engineering department. Lead projects involving the Engineering Data analyst. Develop WorkFlow Gen processes for the group. Maintain Bartender label battery data. Review ECO/ECN Data Provide technical support to the Plants by reviewing and maintain BOM's. Manage Data between various MRP (BaaN, SAP) and PLM (PTC Windchill) systems. Extracting data from various systems to provide reporting of KPI's. MKT and FCustom Order processing Manage Projects for Product Development and Product Improvement. Provide technical support to Management, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, Service, Purchasing, Quality, and other Engineering groups. Baan ECO and SAP ECN creation. Complete the WorkFlow Gen and Finalize the BaaN ECO. Gather the Variant Configurator (VC) Data and submit that to SAP Master Data. Follow up on Costing and Pricing in BaaN and SAP. F inalize the ECN in SAP and notify the Requestor that the part is ready to order. Take any existing battery and make a minor change, such as a color change or a component change, and create the BaaN BOM, in addition to the previously described responsibilities.Trouble shooting any errors that come up. Support establishment of new product lines as needed, as directed by manager. Create and maintain process documentation as requested or required. Establishment and release of purchase parts in Baan and SAP Tracking and reporting of KPI's as directed by manager. Coordinating with IT and Power BI teams to automate KPI reporting. Updating and overseeing Custom Order Reports as directed by manager. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Language Skills: Proficient in verbal and written English. Spanish is desirable. Mathematical Skills: BS-level math and skills. Reasoning Ability: Innovative problem-solving skills. Computer Skills: MS Office, MS Excel, MS Access, AutoCAD, SolidWorks. SAP and BaaN BOM development experience is desirable. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Not required. Other Skills and Abilities: Good verbal and writing skills. Experience and knowledge of industrial Lead-acid batteries are desirable to start and expected to be developed. Other Qualifications: Good people skills and ability to work with people with diverse educational and technical knowledge. TRAVEL REQUIRED: 10% to 25% travel is required to visit suppliers, customers, and EnerSys facilities. This includes international travel. Must have or be able to obtain a valid passport.
