We are hiring a Utility Worker for our printing plant team in Eagan, Minnesota. You would be eligible for a $2,500 sign-on bonus upon being in the role for 90 days.
Hours of Work - Eagan, Minnesota
- 2nd shift - 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm
- Occasional overtime up to 4 hours per day and occasional weekend shifts
About the Role: In this opportunity as a Utility Worker, you will be responsible for:
Performing inspection and cleaning services on all types of manufacturing machinery consistent with the structured maintenance program. Report any problems or potential problems discovered while performing duties to supervisor. Providing assistance as required to other areas of the manufacturing operation, such as distributing knives for Bindery Equipment and maintaining cleanliness in the machine shop area. Using appropriate safety procedures, including lockout/tagout procedures on equipment when servicing. Operating various material handling equipment, such as forklift, power dolly, pallet mover, highjacker, and other equipment in a safe manner and in accordance with established safety rules and procedures and maintain a current safety certificate. Observing all safety procedures and using safety equipment to comply with state and federal regulations. Reporting all safety and environmental hazards and attending all safety and environmental training programs. Communicating with internal and external customers when situations arise that concern production. Providing instruction to co-workers who are in training.
About You: In this opportunity as a Utility Worker, you will:
- Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher. Candidates with a vocational/technical degree are strongly preferred.
- Have limited knowledge, experience and skill required while performing routine procedures and tasks.
- Have some knowledge of area of work through training and/or experience (either at TR or previous experience).
- Understand how the role relates to the work of others in the unit.
- Provide routine administrative, production operation or technical support.
- Receive close supervision with little autonomy.
- Work within established standard procedures and defined processes.
- Perform a group of related tasks that support the results of a team or group.
- Solve routine problems with existing procedures using supervision readily available.
- Complete assignments and tasks that are routine in nature.
- Make decisions related to your own work with regular supervision and guidance.
- Interaction outside of the work unit is rare and generally on routine matters.

For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation hourly range for this role is $15 - $29.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
