Position Summary |
Full time (100%
FTE) temporary Social Clinical Research Assistant to support a new study of brain development in infants with Down syndrome. Responsibilities will include recruitment and screening of research subjects, scheduling subject visits, assisting data collection on study visits, attending research
MRI scans with family to assist in obtaining brain
MRI scans (e.g., implement behavior management strategies), and post-visit activities such as processing subject compensation, sending out post visit feedback materials, and data upload and/or transfer. |
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements |
Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
Experience working in a research lab setting. |
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience |
College degree (BA) with course work in psychology, neuroscience or related degree. Direct experience obtaining research
MRI scans with young children and other experiences working with children, ideally with neurodevelopmental disorders. |
