Lubbock Site Security Officer 42330BR Critical Infr Security Inst CISI Position Description The Site Security Officer (SSO) will supervise and direct security measures for the Critical Infrastructure Security Site. The SSO is required to take applicable training courses to understand fully the complexity of the requirements levied by their duties. Experienced in developing, administering, and/or overseeing security procedures and programs for classified or proprietary materials and documents. Candidates should have experience in coordinating and processing security clearances. Experience in implementing federal security regulations and obtaining rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations. Experience conducting security education classes. This job is fully on-site and includes being on-call to respond to incidents at the facility. Major/Essential Functions
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, or related field, with at least 3 years of experience in security administration or equivalent experience in the military, federal government or contractor supporting federal government contracts.
