Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Manage the manufacturing activities for the specific department. Assure that production schedules are achieved. Assign priorities based on shipping dates. Coordinate the logistics to and from all outside sources/suppliers as needed. Keep management informed of completion shipping and arrival dates. Manage expenditures in the areas of responsibility within budget constraints as needed. Assure that processes are controlled, and procedures are in place and followed as to yield product that meets quality standards. This role will work Friday-Monday.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS:

* Coordinate and manage related production activities.

* Assure the safety of all employees. Make sure the employees and the vendors, visitors follow all safety rules and guidelines.

* Budget responsibilities (assure that productivity and out reports are interpreted and make adjustments to fall back within budget).

* Complete control of the flow and the process in a way that he can make projections of job or operations completions.

* Development and management of departmental systems.

* Responsibility for corrective action implementation for operational non-conformances with the purpose of avoiding recurrence.

* Management of continuous improvement plans in the following areas: quality, equipment utilization, labor productivity, variable cost and energy usage.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

* Basic knowledge of related departmental concepts.

* 2 to 3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment a plus.

* High School degree plus five years' experience; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

* Ability to drive production in a fast-paced environment.

* Ability to manage multiple, often changing, priorities.

* Must be computer literate.

* Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point).

* Basic knowledge of Theory of Constraints principles.

The range of pay for this role is $86,000 to $120,000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. This role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 2X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc.

This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To be qualified to work in this facility, a successful applicant must be a U.S. Person, as defined in those regulations, and able to supply evidence of that qualification prior to starting work or be authorized to receive controlled information under a specific license or permission from the relevant government agency. The U.S. export control regulations define a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), and certain categories of Asylees and Refugees.
