Position Summary: The Associate Test Coordinator is responsible for the routine operations of the Prometric Testing Site and assists in administering and proctoring various tests, including Academic, Certification, Licensure, Computer-Based Testing, Correspondence/Long Distance Education, Placement exams, and others as needed. This position also administers and proctors' exams through ATI, Pearson VUE, PSI, and the FAA. The Associate Test Coordinator ensures that all mandatory trainings are completed to meet the certification requirements for administering licensure and certification exams. This role also ensures that internal controls are adequate to maintain a safe and quiet testing environment for students. Additionally, the Associate Test Coordinator oversees the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Prometric Site in accordance with Prometric testing policies, ENMUR's policies, and applicable laws. This position reports to the Director of the Testing Services Department.
Supervisory Responsibilities: The Associate Test Coordinator manages student hires and work-study employees within the Testing Services Department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must be skilled in objective observation.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service.
- Verify examinees' identification and eligibility.
- Perform security checks, such as using a wand or fingerprint scanning.
- Maintain test integrity.
- Explain exam procedures, launch exams, and handle post-exam procedures.
- Continuously monitor examinees during exams.
- Troubleshoot technical issues with testing equipment and software, and contact support when needed.
- Maintain a secure and professional testing environment.
- Ensure every examinee receives a fair and comfortable testing experience.
- Enforce testing policies and procedures, and report any policy violations or irregularities.
- Be flexible with scheduling and adapt to the needs of the testing center.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of testing stations.
- Participate in quality assurance and audit programs.
- Maintain open communication with internal and external departments to resolve technical issues.
- Represent ENMU-R and Prometric's vision, mission and values.
- Establish positive relationships and represent ENMU-Roswell with other institutions, testing centers, National College Testing Association, and the community.
- Collaborate with the Testing Program Specialist and Assistant Director to ensure smooth daily operation of testing program areas.
- Promote effective communication within the Testing Services area.
- Work with third-party agencies (MVD, Department of Corrections, Train It, Artesia trucking, Ramirez Trucking, etc.) to collect examinees' information and clearance for CDL testing.
- Perform other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.

Requirements

Minimum Job Requirements:
- Associates' degree from an accredited institution or two years of experience in a professional testing environment.
- Office experience and working with students and/or the general public in a customer service environment.
- Must obtain Test Center Administration Certification within two months of employment.
- Must pass IRS background check (E-verity) after hiring.
Preferred:
- Experience in a higher education institution.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to be flexible with scheduling based on Testing Services days of operation.
- Ability to interpret, adapt, and apply testing guidelines, polices, and procedures.
- Ability to use sound judgment and react calmly and effectively in various situations.
- Ability to professionally represent ENMU-Roswell in the community and local school districts.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Proficient with standard office equipment, including computers, phones, scanners, fax machines, and copiers.
- Knowledge of strategic planning and implementation of short-term and long-term goals.

Working Conditions

- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms; and communicate effectively by talking or hearing.
- Frequently required to stand, walk and sit, occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Work is primarily performed during normal business hours, with occasional weekends required to meet deadlines.
- The position is primarily sedentary but may occasionally involve lifting or exerting up to 25 pounds of force.
