Description

We are seeking a Family Resiliency Navigator for Early Education to join our team.

Starting Salary: $ 48,000 - $54,000 Annually

Bonus: $4,00 ($2,000 Sign-on Bonus will be paid on your first paycheck, and the $2,600 Retention Bonus will be paid after 12 months of service.)

Your role will be the Family Resiliency Navigator (FRN) reporting to the Clinical Manager-Early Childhood. Work as part of an interdisciplinary and interagency team to initiate universal behavioral health screenings to improve our ability to identify infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with unmet behavioral health concerns and increase services that promote long-term well-being. The FRN will support children, families, and center personnel in their assigned location to address personal, emotional, and social problems that interfere with development and school success. As a member of the Outpatient team, you will work with other team members and report to our Clinical Manager-Early Education.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:



  • Provide direct mental health and case management to students and families experiencing
  • social and emotional problems as indicated by assessed needs.
  • Coordinate preventative screenings utilizing program-chosen assessment tools, leading to
  • a needs assessment.
  • Support children in the classroom with social-emotional strategies, regulation, safety,
  • connection, and executive functioning skills.
  • Provide groups within the classroom based on Conscious Discipline principles.


WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

Our ideal candidate will have 1 year of relevant experience in human behavioral science, which includes 30 semester or 45 quarter hours, either in the development of human behavior, child development, family intervention techniques, diagnostic measures, or therapeutic techniques, such as social work, psychology, sociology, guidance and counseling, and child development. The applicant will have the ability to communicate in both English and Spanish the following:




  • At least 21 years of age and pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
  • A valid driver's license, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
  • * Complete Sanctuary training in a timely manner;
  • * Follow all agency policies;
  • * Be able to pass state abuse, neglect, and criminal background checks;
  • * Be able to carry out the essential functions of the position with or without accommodation.
  • * Perform all job duties in a manner that demonstrates a commitment to Sanctuary values and practices.
  • * Demonstrate awareness and understanding of the cultural and ethnic diversity of clients, team members, and other community partners.
