Paraprofessional/Paraprofessional, General Education 9/18/2025 NORTH/WEST ENGINEERING COMPUTER SCIENCE BUSINESS 25-26 School Year 10/03/2025 Paraprofessional Laboratory Assistant (ECSB) REPORTS TO Director of ECSB PURPOSE The job of Paraeducator Laboratory Assistant is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the instructional program with specific responsibility for organizing, maintaining and providing equipment, and related materials in proper quantities for use in classroom, laboratory experiments; ensuring safety guidelines are applied to materials, classrooms and prep areas; and providing clerical support to teachers and staff. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
RESPONSIBILITY Responsibilities include: working under limited supervision following standardized practices and/or methods; leading, guiding, and/or coordinating others; utilization of some resources from other work units may be required to perform the job's functions. There is a continual opportunity to have some impact on the organization's services. WORKING ENVIRONMENT The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling, and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 50% sitting, 25% walking, and 25% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.
