Welder or Welder/Fitter

Job Description

Fitters will need to read drawings and fit together fabrications that can be small to several thousand pounds. Needs to have welding skills as well; hardwire and/or metalcore. Use of overhead and jib cranes as well as forklift experience is important.

Welders should be experienced in hardwire and/or metal core. We currently do not do Fluxcore welding but may in the future. Experience with using jib cranes, overhead cranes, and forklifts is important. Having knowledge of AWS D1.1 is a plus as we need to certify our welders to that.

Both positions; it is critical to have good attendance and approach each day with a positive attitude, respecting their co-workers, keeping clean/organized workspace.

All the parts we produce are "critical" items that if the welds fail people can be injured or worse. Quality of workmanship is critical as well as safety.
