Description

As a Refrigeration Technician, you will install, maintain and repair refrigeration systems like refrigerators, freezers and air conditioning unites.

You will also:



  • Service commercial refrigeration equipment to include walk-in coolers, freezers, small self-contained equipment, reach-ins, in small markets and restaurants
  • Service commercial ice machines - many brands including Manitowoc, Scotsman, Hoshizaki
  • Installation of new or replacement condensers and evaporators
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment with minimal to no supervision
  • Work and drive safely, using appropriate safety gear and techniques
  • Ability to service clients in a 24/7 environment with on call responsibilities
  • Computer skills are required (utilizing tablet in the field)
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Project a professional image to associates, customers, and others; observe all rules of food safety and hygiene
  • Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor.


Qualifications

To ensure success as a Refrigeration Technician, you should have advanced knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems, good mechanical skills, and excellent troubleshooting skills.



  • Commercial Refrigeration: 5+ years
  • Valid Driver's License/ Clean Driving Record
  • EPA Certification
  • Refrigeration license a plus
  • Ice machine certifications a plus
