Principal SME Contracting

The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Principal SME Contracting to provide research support administration services for our government customer in Ft. Belvoir, VA.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides legal review/contract award support to Natick contracting in support of the APM for Next Generation Information & Awareness.

• Reviews Other Transaction Agreements (OTA) is critical.

• Evaluates or monitors contract performance to determine necessity for amendments or extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations.

• Evaluates requests for deviations from contract specifications and delivery schedules.

• Assists in arbitration of claims or complaints occurring in performance of contracts.

• Assists in analyzing price proposals, financial reports, and other data to determine reasonableness of prices.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• Must have a Bachelors degree.

• Masters degree preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must have at least 16 years of experience.

• Expert knowledge of Other Transaction Agreements (OTA).

• Requires a knowledge of pre-award and post-award procedures to plan and conduct the contracting process from the description of the requirements through contract delivery.

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (Born or Naturalized).

• Must have Active TS/SCI Clearance.
