Position Summary:

Responsible for increasing market share by effectively managing digital merchandise and small equipment product portfolio, publications and promotions, vendor relationships and completing category strategy frameworks. Possess and develop the knowledge about assigned product lines to be a resource for customers, sales, and company to identify trends and drive opportunities that will provide the expected level of growth in sales and GP.

Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?



  • Effectively manages assigned product line portfolio, analyzing lines to determine changes and trends by compiling information from SDM, competitor data, market trends, TR and customer surveys. Effectively increases sales of Benco-focused products through educational tools for the sales team and quarterly promotions. Works with vendor partners to secure special end-user pricing and financing to benefit the company and guide new product launches. Develops educational and promotion programs and monthly/quarterly/annual advertising campaigns.
  • Determine which products are needed to increase market share within their portfolio
  • Increases sales of Digital products.
  • Owner of Vendor relationships and designs programs related to product benefits oversees the planning, creation, implementation and tracking of all marketing programs and advertising promotions in coordination with the marketing plan: including but not limited to target mailings, specialty flyers, sampling promotions, up-sell promotions, social media campaigns, internal publications, web-based advertising and external publications and spiff management. This includes annual DDR and other specialty publications. Minimal supervision required.
  • Works with Brand and Communications team on providing marketing data from vendors, individual data ideas; targeting compliance with deadlines to ensure timely distribution and publication of all materials.
  • Manage pricing to achieve the best balance between increased profit margins and increased sales.
  • Train outside sales representatives and customer service representatives on any new products. Develop necessary marketing material, product literature and samples
  • Keep Purchasing up to date on product changes or updates. Review return goods/credits, discuss vendor bidding and review sources for packaging.
  • Conduct regular product reviews to ensure that bids are taken on a routine and consistent basis so that contracts do not automatically renew without review.
  • Negotiate new product minimums, seek out cost-effective packages and other fixed costs with vendors.
  • Work with Purchasing to forecast initial order.
  • Maintain existing packaging and create packaging for new product launches working with Marcom to ensure all deadlines are met.
  • Attends regional meetings in the field, co-travels with territory reps/equipment specialists/field technicians/vendor reps and vendor site visits; all with purpose of educating sales team and understanding their needs to allow marketing to provide ongoing value in assisting Benco in growing and maintaining our market share.
  • Oversee vendor contract negotiations and ensure appropriate approvals are secured from in-house council prior to signature.
  • Work with Director to develop annual marketing plan and business strategy to achieve overall company growth goals.
  • Act as the Digital Marketing liaison for interdepartmental communications, projects, updates and other company initiatives as determined by the Director of Digital Experience and Marketing.


Do YOU Meet These Requirements?



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years coordinating and/or managing accounts
  • Dental industry knowledge required
  • Must have CAD/CAM experience
